You can choose to travel light and take your luggage in the bike’s side cases or you can go for having your luggage be transferred by car from one accommodation to the other. If desired, the luggage vehicle can be also booked as an assistance vehicle joining you along the tracks, giving a good opportunity for pillions to occasionally exchange the saddle with a seat in the vehicle.
The accommodation standard is again, your choice. We have carefully selected a wide network of trusted welcoming accommodation facilities ranging from authentic Transylvanian guesthouses to 3-4 stars hotels.
Our itineraries are definitely including as highlights, bucket list must tracks like the famous Transfăgărăşan Pass Road which is rising up to 2042 meters elevation and is requiring from every rider the usage of all riding skills on the 13km of extremely sharp hairpin turns, or the Transalpina Pass Road which is the highest road of the Carpathian Mountains, counting at its summit 2145m elevation, after following the mountains pick line for almost 20 km.
The Trans-Semenic Pass Road or the Ojdula-Lepsa Road for instance are two of our favorite highlight tracks, the adrenaline boost gotten on them being extreme, as both are relatively wide roads with very little traffic, very good asphalt quality and are constantly winding along the slopes and the valleys of the Carpathian Mountains, challenging the riders with twist after twist, hairpin turn after hairpin turn, inviting them to ride as they would be on a Moto GP Circuit – a public one, at high altitude!

The Trans-Rarau Pass Road, the Trans-Ursoaia Pass Road or the Trans-Bucegi Road on the other hand are much slower tracks, quite narrow, similar to the high-altitude pass road of the Alps, with traffic on both directions on one lane, one of them having even traffic mirrors at the most tide hairpin turns. Although, not allowing a fast ride, these tracks are impressing by requiring a maximum of focus and extremely fast reactions form the riders and nevertheless they are delighting with the incredible picturesque scenery.
Another highlight is riding on the Transylvania Moto Discoverer off the beaten track routes, on secondary tarmac roads through the picturesque countryside or on the numerous gravel and fire roads connecting the villages of the Transylvanian Highland where idyllic scenes will delight your view and where you will meet inspiring people preserving and valuing their ancestral cultural heritage.
Our carefully selected and trusted Transylvania Moto Discoverer local partner network will reveal to you the authentic Transylvanian spirit while welcoming you in relaxing accommodation facilities, serving you delicious Transylvanian culinary treats or offering you support when needed. They will make sure you will become a “Transylvania Moto Discoverer”
